Getting through an Emotional Affair
This week's episode on Dear Headspace got a lot of feedback, and I'm here for all of it.
Hello there Friends!
Happy Friday! How's the start of 2024 treating you? After the rollercoaster of last year, I must admit that this year seems to be off to a promising start. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and while there might still be a bit of a chaotic swirl around us, I have a feeling we're going to be just fine.
A few quick updates, As I mentioned last week, I'll be at the World Happiness Summit alongside my dear friend and author, Karen Guggenheim, on March 19th and 20th in London. To all my friends across the pond, please come and say hello! I'd also love to hear your recommendations for things to explore while I'm there for a few days.
Most of my days have been occupied with organizing and planning for not just 2024, but also looking ahead to 2025. Yes, you read that right! We recently unveiled our first retreat of the year, set in the beautiful Xinalani in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, this summer. It's shaping up to be a truly transformative experience, and I'm incredibly excited for the wonderful crew joining us. If you're curious or have any questions, you can check out all the details here or drop us an email at info@radicallyloved.com.
Now, let's talk about Book #2. Truth be told, this past week hasn't been the most productive in terms of writing. As many of you who've been on this journey with me know, sometimes the words flow effortlessly, and other times, it feels like a bit of a struggle. During those challenging moments, I like to give myself the space to disconnect and allow my mind to reset—a fitting approach given the theme of the book.
Before I go any further, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to those of you who've subscribed to the paid version of this newsletter. Your support means the world to me!
Alright, announcements aside, did you have a chance to listen to this week's episode of 'Dear Headspace'? You can find it on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. In this episode, my friend Robin also here on Substack
and I delved into questions about managing a highly stressful work environment, finding your tribe, and recovering after an emotional affair. While I didn't anticipate it being controversial, it sparked some fantastic conversations on Instagram, in my DMs, and through text messages. Here's what I've gleaned from those discussions...
